Carlo Dellepiane is an Electric Bass and Double Bass Player, active in Genoa and across Italy. He starts playing his guitar at an early age, then he borrows his father’s Gibson Bass at thirteen, immediately falling in love with the instrument.
After achieving his Classical High School Diploma (92/100) at Liceo Classico Mazzini , he devotes his life to music, enrolling at the “Niccolò Paganini” Academy of Music, in Genoa where he graduated in Classical Double Bass in June 2015.
He studies Electric Bass with Nicola Bruno (2nd place at Euro Bass Day 2009) from year 2005 to 2010, and with the Bass virtuoso Gianni Serino.
During the years, attends several clinics, masterclasses and workshops held by bass masters like Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Pietro Leveratto, Reggie Hamilton, Lincoln Goines, Dario Deidda.
He is currently a member of Dany Franchi Band, headliners and supporting band collaborating with Kirk Fletcher, Sonny Rhodes, Sean Carney and others preminent artists on the Blues scene. Check their website for the latest news!

He is also Musical Director of the Bloomsday in Genoa, since 2012, simultaneously improving his arranging and conducting skills. In July 2015 he has conducted in public the Junior Band of Filarmonica Sestrese.
